Story
One canvas, ten thousand hands
The Mona Lisa was painted by one person. We wondered what would happen if the next one were painted by ten thousand.
Xpixel is a single canvas of one million pixels, divided into ten thousand blocks. Every block belongs to someone. Every block carries their image, their message, their mark. On its own a block is a hundred pixels. Together they become a picture no single artist could have planned.
When the last block is claimed, the canvas leaves the screen and becomes a physical artwork. Everyone who placed a pixel is part of it.

Xpixel is one shared artwork, built one block at a time. A few commitments guide everything we do.
Permanent ownership
Every block you buy is recorded to your account with fixed coordinates. It stays yours: no expiry, no takebacks. Even if you never upload artwork, the block remains yours and is painted plain.
Collaborative by design
A million pixels, thousands of creators, one evolving picture. Your piece lives alongside everyone else's.
Creators first
Replace your image as often as you like until you submit it, a person reviews it with care, and you have 60 days to get it exactly right.
